ＶＲ技術の陶磁器分野への応用研究

多分野においてパソコンを利用したVirtual reality(仮想現実)技術等の情報技術の導入が進められている。九谷焼業界においても情報技術の導入は不可欠であり，技術支援を望まれている。
そこで，製造工程への情報技術導入のひとつとして，迅速及び柔軟な商品開発を目的に，ＶＲ入力システムを応用して陶磁器分野に適合する製造方法を検討した。また，パソコン上で見本製品をモデルに形状作成を行うための簡便な形状データの取込み方法について検討し，試作実証した。

Research into the Application of VR Technology to Ceramic Ware

Virtual reality (VR) technology and other information technologies using personal computers have been introduced into various fields. The Kutani ware industry could also benefit greatly from the introduction of information technology, and requires technological assistance to make this possible.
We studied a production method suitable for ceramic ware, using a VR input system for prompt and flexible product development. We developed a simple-form reading system that reads form data so that designers can design forms easily, referring to sample models on the PC, and produced samples using that system.
