繊維欠点データベースの構築 −繊維欠点の再発防止と品質向上への取り組み−

石川県工業試験場ではこれまでに県内の繊維業者から持ち込まれる繊維の欠点解析を行い，クレームの低減化や再発防止に努めてきた。今回，冊子として発行していた繊維欠点事例集を電子データ化し，「せんい欠点データベース」として広く普及するために，工業試験場ホームページ内で公開した。
さらに，このデータベースを拡充するためのデータ入力システムを「せんい欠点入力システム」として整備した。今後は本データベースと入力システムを活用し，繊維欠点の再発防止と品質向上に活用する。

The Preparation of a Database of Textile Defects

At the Industrial Research Institute of Ishikawa, examples of textile defects presented by a textile company were analyzed in view of reducing production loss and preventing recurrence of defects. The collection of textile defects, which had been previously published as a booklet, was made into an electronic database and opened to the public on our website via the Internet. Furthermore, a data input system was established to gather our personnel's know-how. The database and the input system will be used to prevent the recurrence of textile defects, and to improve textile quality.
