Recycling Technology of PET Bottles in
Ishikawa Prefecture

The recycling is required in terms of the loss in weight of the trash
and the effective utilization of the resources. The development of the
recycling products for PET bottles becomes necessary with the increase
of amounts of collected PET bottles. The development of the recycling
product and that material evaluation were conducted with the enterprises
and universities of Ishikawsa prefecture. The following results were obtained.

Parts trays and name cards were developed as
the sheet molding products. |

Small containers, handles of the welding machine,
pen cases and flower planters were developed as the injection molding
products. |
| (3) |
The fundamental data of the development of recycling
products were obtained from the material evaluation of the above
recycled products. |
